Israel Highlights - A tour for all faiths, visiting & touring Israels main highlights, opens a window over Israel's history past & present, its peoples and culture. Tour's overnights: 2 nights in Tel-Aviv, 2 nights in the Galilee in a Kibbutz Hotel and 3 nights in Jerusalem.

An Interfaith Cultural Tour of Israel

Sunday -  Arrival
Pick up from Ben Gurion Airport. Our BGN Airport representative will meet you at the arrival hall (as per your landing details) & will lead you to the car for transfer to Tel Aviv.  Overnight in Tel Aviv

Monday -  Tel Aviv - Beer Sheva - Arad - Massada - Jerusalem
Leave Tel Aviv - via Ashdod - Ashkelon - Beer Sheba. A short visit to the Negev capital. Continue via Arad to Massada. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, Herod’s palaces, the synagogue, bathhouse, etc. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. Descend for a possible “float” in the salty waters of the world’s lowest place. Via Ein Gedi & Kalya. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Tuesday -  Jerusalem
Jerusalem - sightseeing of the new city drive to Mt. Scopus for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. On to the Garden of Gethsemane and Church of the Agony. Drive to Mt. Zion for a visit to the Tomb of King David, the Last Supper Room and Dormition Abbey. Sightseeing in the new city including the Israel Museum & Shrine of the Book with the famous Dead Sea Scrolls, the new Supreme Court, Mt. Herzl and Yad Vashem (the Holocaust Memorial). Visit the model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem dating back to the time of the Second Temple. Afternoon: visit the Hadassah Medical Center to see the synagogue with Marc Chagall stained glass windows, then via Ein Karem (the birthplace of John the Baptist). Overnight in Jerusalem.

The Dead Sea  Western Wall - Kottle & Golden Dome  Shrine of the Book in Jerusalem  Bethlehem

Wednesday -  Jerusalem - (Old City) – Bethlehem*
Walk through one of the gates to the walled Old City: the renewed Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall, the Temple area, the colorful bazaars, Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Continue to Bethlehem* to visit Rachel’s Tomb and the Church of the Nativity. Overnight in Jerusalem.
* Site under the Palestinian Authority Jurisdiction. Visit subjected to situation.

Thursday - Beit She'an - Tiberias - Galilee
Leave Jerusalem, and drive north via Jericho*, the oldest city in the world. Then via the Jordan Valley and the new settlements to Beit Shean. Visit the excavations of this beautiful Roman City. Proceed to Tiberias, the old center of Jewish learning. Drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum to visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Overnight in the Galilee.

Friday - Upper Galilee and Golan Heights - Nazareth
Drive to the Golan Heights. Visit the former Syrian fortifications, Birkat Ram, and the Druze villages, Via Banias, source of the Jordan River. Proceed via Kiryat Shmona and the Hula Valley to Safed, city of the Kabbalah, to visit synagogue and the Artists’ Colony and then to Nazareth to visit the Christian Holy Sites. Overnight in the Galilee.

Saturday - Acre - Haifa - Tel Aviv
After Breakfast drive west to Acre for a visit of the old, famous Crusader stronghold and medieval fortifications. Continue to Haifa, sightseeing tour of Haifa, including the Bahai Shrine, Persian Garden and Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of the city. Proceed southwards to Caesarea to visit the Roman theater and the Crusader fortress. Continue south for a short city tour of Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Overnight in Tel Aviv.

Sunday -   Departure
Transportation to Ben Gurion Airport. End of service or proceed with your chosen extension.

Payment & Cancelation Policy
1. A deposit covering 30% of the total due will be charged upon confirmation to validate your reservation.
2. All Remaining due payment will be charged to your credit card 7 working days prior to tour.
3. Cancellation of Tour: full refund (except $25 per person – handling fee) if cancelled up to 14 days before departure of tour. Any cancellations coming in between 14 to 7 days prior to departure will be charged 35% of the total due. Any cancellations coming in between 7 to 3 days prior to departure will be charged 55% of the total due. Cancellations 3 days before the tour and no shows will be fully charged.
