About visiting Saint Catherine Monastery
Our 1 day tour to Saint Catherine Monastery, includes a visit at the 1,400 years old Greek Orthodox Church, built on the site of the Burning Bush at the foot of Mount Sinai. It departs from Eilat Israel, with minimum 2 participants. This excursion does not include climb to Mount Sinai.

Pick up	Eilat major hotels 06:00 am
Porgram	06:00 am – Pick up from Eilat hotels & transfer to Taba border. 06:15 am – Meet and assist with border formalities 06:45 - Meet with Egyptian English speaking tour guide and travel to Saint Catherine (about 3 hours ride)  09:30 am - Visit the Monastery, including site of the Burning Bush, the Well, Garden & Skull Room. 12:00 pm - Drive to Nuweiba Lunch break on the beach & visit local Bedouin Bazaar  16:00 pm - Drive back to Taba border 17:00 pm - Border crossing and transfer back to Eilat Hotels
	Please Note ♦ On Fridays, Sundays, Muslim & Greek Orthodox Holidays the Monastery is closed. ♦ The Monastery is open for visitors only between 09:00 am to 12:00 noon ♦ Modest clothing required for entering the Monastery  ♦ This tour does NOT include climb to Mount Sinai   Border Crossing Formalities & Visa * Most nationalities do not need an entry visa to Sinai when staying less than 7 days in the Sinai * Passport must be valid for minimum 4 months ahead of your scheduled entry to Jordan * Egyptian authorities do not permit weapons, amunition & pornography of any kind across the border!!
	Bring along: Passport, $45 in cash for border taxes, sunscreen lotion, hat, comfortable walking shoes, warm clothes, swim suit & towel (for Red Sea swim at the end of the day)
