Day 1    Early morning (around 05:00 am) departure from Eilat hotel to Taba Border. Assisted border crossing, meet with Egyptian English speaking guide and car. Drive across the Sinai Desert Westward to the Gulf of Suez, cross the Suez Canal via the underwater tunnel and proceed to Cairo. This part of the trip takes 5 to 6 hours and includes some "bone stretching" stops on the way. In Cairo begin tour with visit  to the Temple Valley, Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Pyramids' Bazaar. Check in at hotel.     ***  Optional "Nile Cruise Dinner" at extra cost.

 

Day 2    Visit and tour the world famous Cairo Museum. Tour Old Cairo including Mohamed Ali Mosque, Khan el Khalil Market, the City of the Dead and time permitting visit Ben Ezra Synagogue (at extra cost). Drive back across the Sinai to Taba and return to Eilat. (Estimated return in Eilat around midnight)

Important This tour requires an Egyptian entry visa.

Price includes
Transportation in Egypt according to program, Egyptian English speaking guide, Entrance fees to site in program (except Mummy Chamber at the Cairo Museum and Ben Ezra Synagogue) 1 overnight in Cairo 4 or 5 star hotel on half board basis.

Not included
Egyptian entry visa (see more details attached below), border taxes, entrance fees to sites marked as optional on the tour, lunch on both days, tips, extras and personal expenses.
