Israel Shore Excursion - Christian or Jewsih Theme (2 separate tours) - departing from Ashdod Port to tour Biblical sites in the historical Old City of Jerusalem & proceed to tour sites in the New Western City. Private &/or small group tours.
About Jerusalem

Reunified since 1967, it is the spiritual and administrative capital of Israel embracing the historic Old City, the western modern urban center, and the eastern Arab district. Our guided day tour, through the Old & New City offers a "taste" & a "glimps" on all that history!

Christian Theme
Pick up from ASHDOD PORT @ 08:00 am. Travel via route 1 to Jerusalem. Tour of Jerusalem begins with a panoramic view of the Old City and the Judean Desert atop Mount of Olives. Enter the Old City of Jerusalem and tour: Mount Zion, King David's tomb, Last Supper Room, the Cardo, Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall and view the Temple Mount. Proceed to the Christian Quarter, walk part of the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Walk along the Oriental Bazaar and Exit the Old City via Jaffa Gate. Drive for a short sightseeing tour in New Jerusalem. Visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial (visit at the Memorial is subject to time frame & opening days of the site.) Return to Ashdod Port. |

Jewish Theme
Pick up from ASHDOD PORT @ 08:00 am. Travel via route 1 to Jerusalem. Tour of Jerusalem begins with a panoramic view of the Old City and the Judean Desert atop Mount of Olives. Enter the Old City of Jerusalem and tour: Mount Zion, King David's tomb, walk along the Cardo for an in-depth tour of the Jewish Quarter. Visit the Sephardic Synagogues restored after the 1967 war. Walk to the Kottel where you will have a few minutes for some personal reflections & if you wish, put a note of prayer in the wall. Visit the Davidson Centre, then walk along the Oriental Bazaar and visit David's Tower Museum. Exit the Old City via Jaffa Gate. Drive for a short sightseeing tour in New Jerusalem. Visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial (visit at the Memorial is subject to time frame & opening days of the site.) Return to Ashdod Port. |
