Petra day tour from Tel Aviv

Itinerary
Independent arrival to Tel Aviv Sde Dov Airport. 05:15 am - Check in for flight. 06:40 am - domestic flight Tel Aviv to Eilat.   07:40 am - pick up from Eilat Airport. Transfer to Yitzhak Rabin Crossing (Arava Border). Assisted border crossing. Travel to Petra. 

In Petra: Hear the story of the Nabateans, who have established Petra as their capital on the “Spice Route”. walk the famous Al-Siq - narrow gorge with a winding trail. (Optional short horseback ride). Visit the stone carved Treasury Monument, walk along the dry riverbed & explore sites along its path: Amphitheatre, Kings' Tombs, Roman Market Road & more.

Lunch break: lunch is served, buffet style, in one of Petra's hotels. Afternoon, travel back to the border & time permitting, short tour of Aqaba. Border crossing & transfer back to Eilat. Estimated return ~18:30 pm.
