DAY 1     Traveling to Eilat
Domestic flight fromTel Aviv to Eilat*. Flights depart from Sde Dov Airport located in northern TLV or from Ben Gurion Airport -Terminal 1 (you select flight time from scheduled flights). Eilat is a sunny and vibrant resort by Red Sea, offering ample restaurants, cafés and shops along the beach promenade. Overnight in Eilat**.

DAY 2     Petra Tour & return to Tel Aviv
Morning pick up from Eilat Hotels. Transfer to Arava Border, escorted border crossing to Jordan & travel to Petra via Aqaba (about 2 hours). In Petra, famous for its rock-cut architecture, tour begins at the gate of the Archaeological Park. Walk the illustrious Al-Siq Gorge, a narrow canyon with a winding trail. At the park's entry, there is an optional short horseback ride, till the opening of the gorge. At the end of canyon, reveals itself the legendary Treasury Monument. Enter the stone carved shrine then walk along the dry riverbed & explore sites found along its path: the Amphitheatre, Kings' Tombs, Roman Market Road & more. Hear the story of the Nabateans, resourceful desert people that have established Petra as their capital on the “Spice Route”.

Lunch break - lunch is served, buffet style, in one of Petra's hotels. Afternoon, travel back to the border & time permitting, short tour of Aqaba, Jordan Red Sea port city. Cross back to Eilat in time for the 21:00 pm flight back to Tel Aviv.

DAY 1     Independent arrival to JLM or TLV Central Bus Station & travel to Eilat by Egged public bus - we pre-book your seats on the bus. Bus time options from JLM are : 07:00 am or 10:00 am or 14:00 pm or 17:00 pm. (JLM - Eilat about 4.5 hrs ride). Bus time options from TLV : First bus 06:00 am, then every hour & half till 20:00 pm. (TLV - EIlat about 5 hours ride) . Independent check in at Eilat hotel. Overnight in Eilat link> Map of Eilat

DAY 2     Morning pick up from Eilat Hotels. Transfer to Arava Border, cross to Jordan & travel to Petra (about 2 hours) via Aqaba.
