About Kibbutz Degania Bet
Located by the southern shores of the Sea of Galilee, the community was founded in 1920, it is the first planned kibbutz ever established designed and built by the architect Korenberg. One of the founders was Levi Eshkol, former Israeli prime Minister. It has a large cow dairy herd, vegetable fields, fruit groves & a thriving industry including Degania Sprayers, now a green industry and the Degania Silicone factory.
