Pick up from ASHDOD PORT @ 08:00 am. Travel on route 1, via Latrun and Sha'ar Hagai. In Jerusalem the tour begins with a panoramic view of the Old & New City atop Mount of Olives. A short drive across the Kidron Valley passing by the Garden of Gethsemane will bring us to the walls of Jerusalem.

Enter the Old City and walk towards the Wailing Wall passing by the Armenian Quarter, the Jewish Quarter & the Cardo - a restored Roman road. At the Western Wall (the Kottel), you will have a few minutes for some personal reflections & prayer. Proceed past the Muslim Quarter and the flamboyant Arab Bazar to walk part of The Via Dolorosa (Way of the Cross). Visit the Church of Holy Sepulcher, recognized as the Golgotha & said to contain the Sepulcher - Jesus's burial site.

Walk out the Old City by Jaffa Gate or Mount Zion for a lunch break & travel east by the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea. Stop at one of the resorts on the northern shores of the Dead Sea for some fun & relaxation. Enjoy your Dead Sea experience, float and cover yourself with mineral rich, therapeutic Dead Sea mud. Return to Ashdod Port.

Bring along 
Hat, water, comfortable walking shoes, swim suite, towel, sun screen lotion & snacks for the way (Nov. to Mar. warm clothes)
