Tour program

Christian Theme
Pick up from HAIFA PORT @ 08:00 am. Tour begins in Haifa with a splendid view of Haifa Bay, atop Mount Carmel. Travel east to tour Nazareth and visit the Church of Annunciation, Church of St. Joseph & Mary's Well. Proceed towards the Sea of Galilee passing by the small ancient town of Cana in the Galilee.

Tour Mount Beatitudes, site of the "Sermon of the Mount" and Capernaum, the renowned biblical fishermen's village, on to Tiberias, for a short stroll along its lake promenade. Proceed to the Outlet of the Jordan River, the Yardenit Baptismal Site. Return to Haifa Port. Estimated return in Haifa18:30 pm.

Jewish Theme
Pick up from HAIFA PORT @ 08:00 am. Tour begins in Haifa with a splendid view of Haifa Bay, atop Mount Carmel. Travel east to tour Tzefat (Safed) the Kabalah City, to tour it's ancient Synagogues & walk along the Artists' Quarter*. Proceed to Rosh Pina, a picturesque little town telling the story of the modern era Jewish settlement in the Galilee. (How did Jews become farmers?)

On to Tiberias to tour the ancient city, walk along the promenade of the Sea of Galilee & visit the tombs of Rabbi Akiva & HaRambam, telling the story of the ancient Jewish presence in the Galilee, the writing of the Zohar & Jewish mysticism. Travel around the Kinnereth to its eastern coast and tour Kibbutz Ein Gev located at the foot of the Golan Heights. Return to Haifa Port. Estimated return in Haifa 18:30 pm.
* Artists Quarter is close on Saturdays & Jewish Holidays

Hat, water, comfortable walking shoes & snacks for the way (Nov. to Mar. warm clothes)
