Monday / DAY 1

07:30 am Pick up Tel Aviv Hotels & transfer to Sde Boker. 10:00 am Pick up from Mitzpe Ramon Hotels & transfer to Kibbutz Sde Boker and meet up with the trail leader at Ben Guiron's Desert Home for a tour & introduction of the Negev's past, present & future. Following a light Bedouin style lunch begin the first hike up Mount Tzaror Trail with breathtaking views of the Zin Valley. End the day by sunset with a meal offered by the Bedouins of the Azuma Tribe - last of the nomadic shepherds. Drive to Desert-Shade Eco-Lodge for overnight. 

Tuesday / DAY 2 
At sunrise, walk along the Sculpture Park on the Ramon Crater rim & return to the lodge for breakfast. Proceed on a jeep safari to the Zin Valley and its fresh water springs. Towards noon reach Ein Akev, a hidden fresh water spring (optional swimming in the summer) From Ein Akev & following a lunch break, begin hike of about 7 km on an ancient trail ascending the "Avdat Plateau" till the ruins of Avdat - the Negev's Nabatean Capital. Finally seated on the edge of the crater's rim, with a glass of wine from our local Rujum Winery, savor the magnificence of the desert. Dinner & overnight at Desert-Shade Eco-Lodge.

Wednesday / DAY 3
Following breakfast begin our walk from the crater's cliff through Nakeb (trail) Serbit into the Ramon Crater. Explore the Machtesh's (crater's) unique & colorful geological phenomena. Proceed to the ruins of Khan Saharonim - an important Inn, between Petra and Gaza, on the Nabatean Spice Route. One last view over Machtesh Ramon & return transfers to Tel Aviv & Mitzpe Ramon - end of service.

* We reccommend staying night before the tour in Mitzpe Ramon

Bring along  Comfortable hiking boots, hat, personal water bottle, towel, sunscreen lotion, flashlight, personal medication.
