Kalia Desert Trails |
Enjoy some unique desert horseback riding in Kalia by the Dead Sea. Our rides go for 1 or 2 hours and include an introductory session on our premises. Kalia Stables are also operating as horseback riding school and theraputical riding under the management of Mr. Itzik Hannuka.
Reservations
Minimum 2 hours before arrival.
Example for our 2 hours trail (minimum age 9.)
First an introductory session in our fields, then ride accompanied by one of our proffessional guides, towards Og Wadi (wadi is a dry riverbed), cross the wadi and enter the date grove, on to an open limestone desert landscape and back to the stables. This trek involves some challenging desert passages. Sfae riding - no galloping or running . Minimum 2 participants for departure.
Location
Kibbutz Kalia on the Dead Sea – route 90 – branching from route 1 by northern Dead Sea. Enter Kibbutz Kalia and follow signs to the stables.
