Monday / DAY 1
Our hike begins in Kibbutz Lavi. We will cross its vast wheat fields and climb our way to the magnificent view point from the Horns of Hattin, where the famous battle between Saladin and the Crusaders took place. We then make our way down passing Nebi Shu’eib (Considered to be Jethro’s tomb by the Druze). Entering into the gorgeous Arbel valley, we will visit ancient Arbel synagogue, and take our first views of the Sea of Galilee – the Kinneret.
Tuesday / DAY 2 Starting our day at the Arbel National Park we will have a magnificent view over the entire Galilee. We will then hike down exploring cliff caves, where King Herod fought his strong-holding opponents. With expansive views of the Sea of Galilee, we will reach Migdal, proceed towards the Kinneret shoreline & walk to Tiberias for a guided walking tour of this ancient city.
