About
Nahum Gutman was an Israeli painter, sculptor and author. Gutman helped pioneer a distinctively Israeli style. He was an eclectic artist working in oils, watercolors, mosaics and more. His work varied between literal and abstract. In 1978 Nahum Gutman won the Israel Award for his contribution to children's literature, this was only one of the many awards this unique artist won over years of work and creation.
