Massada, Dead Sea & Petra - 2 days "combo tour"

All visitors of all nationalities going to Jordan via Israel, including just a day trip to Petra, need a Jordan entry visa. If you book a Petra tour with us, we will pre-arrange the visa for you. Visa fee is $60 USD per person, to be paid in cash at the border upon crossing.

Passport, $65 in cash for border taxes, sunscreen lotion, hat, comfortable walking shoes, warm clothes (Nov. to Mar. very cold in Petra. Jan - Feb. may snow!) Don't forget your swim suit for the Dead Sea & the Red Sea... to enjoy while in Eilat!

DAY 1     Join our regular day tour to Massada & Dead Sea, going from either Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. see more details here > Massada & Dead Sea Day Tour.  At the end of the tour, instead of returning to TLV or JLM, we will reserve a seat for you on the 17:20 pm bus from the Dead Sea (Almog Junction) to Eilat. (about 3.5 hours ride) . Independent check in at Eilat hotel. Overnight in Eilat.

DAY 2     Morning pick up from Eilat Hotels. Transfer to Arava Border, cross to Jordan & travel to Petra (about 2 hours) via Aqaba. In Petra, walking part begins from the gate of the Archaeological Park through Al-Siq, a winding trail at the bottom of a natural deep canyon, at the end of which reveals itself the famous Treasury Monument, proceed on to the Amphitheatre, Kings' Tombs, Roman Market Road & more. Hear story of the Nabateans who have established Petra as their capital on the “Spice Route”. Lunch break - lunch is served, buffet style, in one of Petra's hotels. Travel back & time permitting short tour of Aqaba. Return via border crossing to Eilat. Domestic Flight Back to Tel Aviv or stay an extra night in Eilat by the Red Sea.

DAY 3     Optional. Morning at leisure in Eilat. Independent arrival to Eilat Central Bus Station & travel back to JLM or TLV by bus.
